Lancaster¡¯s Master's in Management ranked in UK top ten

ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Management School’s (LUMS) Master's in Management (MiM) has been ranked within the top ten programmes in the UK.

The Financial Times ranks LUMS’ MiM course tenth in the UK and 96th globally. Former Lancaster students record an average 41 per cent increase in salary after completing the course, and 81 per cent of students say they achieved their career aims.

ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ Management School is ranked 1st in the UK for students’ overall satisfaction with the MiM course and joint first in the UK and 11th in the world for the carbon footprint of the programme. Lancaster’s careers service was also ranked 2nd in the UK and 33rd in the world.

Dr Bingbing Ge, Director of the MiM programme in LUMS, said: “We are delighted to see our MiM course listed amongst the very best in the world, and within the top ten in the UK.

“The overall satisfaction scores are particularly wonderful to see, with our students awarding our programme 9.08 out of ten - the highest ranking in the UK. The data also shows the difference our programme makes in our students’ careers, with alumni recording an average pay increase of more than forty per cent.

“The popularity of our MiM programme is also clear from the data, with Lancaster ranked as having the third largest cohort of students in the UK. We are fortunate to attract many brilliant students to our programme and our campus, and I’d like to thank each and every one of them for contributing to these rankings.”
