Sport Lancaster has developed its membership scheme to offer new Off-peak, Peak, and Rock & Racket Memberships to University staff, students, and the wider community.

Located at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Bailrigg Campus, Sport Lancaster is a sport and fitness facility dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles within the community.

With state-of-the-art equipment, expert staff and instructors, and a welcoming environment, the facility offers a range of amenities and programmes designed for individuals of all fitness levels.

Off-peak Memberships

The Off-Peak Membership allows members to access Sport Lancaster from when the centre opens until 2.30pm on Monday-Friday, and any time at the weekend, with access to three gyms, the swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, and group exercise classes.

Peak Memberships

Peak Membership grants members access from the facility opening to closing times, with additional benefits for students, staff, concession plus, and community members on a twelve-month membership, including discounts on Sport Max stock, free day passes for friends and family, and a personalised TechnoGym programme using the MyWellness App.

Rock & Racket Memberships

The Rock & Racket option provides access to the climbing wall, racket sports courts, and equipment hire with advanced booking required.

Associate Director of Sport at ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ, Helen Loftus, said:

“Following our customer survey, we have listened to our customers and made relevant changes to the Sport Lancaster membership scheme, to support our community to make full use of the facilities available. We now offer more flexible options, allowing members to access our services tailored to their interests.

“We aim to provide customers with greater value and convenience, enabling them to maximise their use of the Sports Centre and improve their overall fitness and wellbeing.”
