Development Diary #10
We did it. We are ready. Completed, tested, repaired, retested, packaged. We’ve prepared the latest iteration of Downtime Manager 2.0 and sent it out into the wild. That means we’re just waiting for the various app stores to approve the listings and we’ll be underway! Are you ready? We are!
Downtime Manager 2.0 is ready.
And we can’t wait for you to get it!
But this is only the first step into a much larger world. While we’ve taken a moment to celebrate this milestone the work continues! As we mentioned in last weeks update for you, we’ve laid out our Roadmap for new features and updates beyond the initial release.
Now that we’ve sent the developers back to the salt mines, here’s what you can expect to see us make improvements on this week!
- Homebrew Content. We want you to be able to really make this application your own, and to do that you’re going to need the flexibility to create homebrew content, and access a library of content created by others. Implementing these options is our number one priority for the next update to give you the best experience when using Downtime Manager 2.0!
- In addition to making the creation of this content available in the next update, we’ve conscripted the finest Gnomish minds to make sure the User Experience when creating and implementing homebrew content is the best it can be.
- You want to know when your DM updates your Downtime Actions? Do you want your DM to know when you’ve selected how to spend your downtime? Push Notifications will be an option with the next update. This will allow you truly stay in touch with your characters in real time between sessions.
- Don’t forget that you can vote on the features you would like us to prioritize! We’ve gotten this far with your feedback and we’re happy to continue to listen to the users and the fans!
As always, the team is readily available on our Discord channel to answer your questions, and listen to your feedback. There are a lot of RPG lovers on there too for you to share your love of gaming with. Maybe find a group!
Until next time, take care of yourselves!
